2013 Z differences.

I prefer stiff clutches and my 13 cluch feels pretty stiff. I would love to put a ACT HDSS in it though!

/\ what was the resolution regarding the Z1 stainless brake lines not being plug and play for the '13's with the akebono's?

I have a '13 Nismo and will be upgrading the lines again like on my last one ('10 model) but I will wait until z1, forged etc redesign their lines to work with the new Z's.

Then again, the '13 nismos have upgraded hard rubber lines stock ala the GTRs so with my luck, they'll be different than everyone else's still.

It's been a month, was told by Z1 last Friday they were shipping the revised fronts. No tracking or anything so I guess we'll see. I think however he's just sending the one line. So ill have a line and a brass block left over that's gonna collect dust. If you order online he told me you can click 2013 now.

Take a pic, I can tell what you'll need.

I'm very curious if the car got a revised fuel pump setup for sweeping right handers and fuel cut off. I wonder how I can figure that out?!

I would bet not honestly, but an easy way is get down to a half a tank and go take an on ramp aggressively with sweeping right hand turn.

If they haven't addressed this thus far , (shame on you Nissan ), I seriously doubt they will ever for the Z34, hopefully for the next gen Z it won't be an issue.

yeah that would require an engineer somewhere along the line to admit that they F'ed up and for engineers in general that is a very hard thing to do, at least from what i've noticed

Remove the clutch helper spring. Mine feels amazing since I did that.

Unfortunately we don't have any high-speed sweeping turns, but I've taken some 90 degree right-handers quickly without issue (shut up, JAR), even at two-three dots.

I see.

I thought that there was a DIY to replace the spring for a different spring in order to change the engagement point.

Changing the engagement point is a different issue than the spring. All the spring does is take all of the feel out of the pedal.

So does the removing the spring also change the engagement point as well as provide feel? Or does it just provide feel?

Nope. Just pedal feel. Yank it out. It takes 15 minutes and a pair of needle nose pliers. Ten minutes out of the fifteen is contorting yourself around to get to the damn thing.
