People's reaction to your music

Question up front: What kind of reactions do you get from people in your area regarding the music you play in your Z? (if you play music in your Z...)
Yet another totally "out there" thread from me. I enjoy these things:icon17:

So, my father is from south Houston, TX and my mother is from Anahuac, TX. I was raised up on a lot of country/bluegrass music. Love Garth, Dolly, Merle, Cash, Willie Nelson, etc. Up here in North Dakota I get a lot of strange looks when I blast my country in my Z. The attached picture is me. I am in the very front. Do people expect me to play dubstep or something because I drive a hot red sports car? (Wub, wub wub! Wah-wah-wah-wah! Bey doo, wah doo, Bass-Cannon, remix!!! WTF )

I try not to be the kind of person to play my stuff loud enough for someone else's entertainment but I have put on Catharsis by Die Vinderbannten Kinder Evas or some other intense, dark piano music. The confusion on their faces is rather priceless. :icon14:

I too was raised on country music from my parents. I love all genres of music, including country. So sometimes I will listen to country and I have never received more WTH looks, as when I blast Nitty Gritty Dirt Band "Fishin in the Dark" when cruisin through Los Angeles!

Yesterday I was playing Halestorm's, Here to Us very loud. Came to a stoplight when another car pulled up next to me. Just then, the chorus hit (those of you who have heard this song know the part I'm referring too here) and I looked to my left to see this lady in her 50's start to roll up her window and shake her head from side to side. She even pointed her finger at me waving it from side to side. I started to crack up, LMFAO and took off leaving her to wave her finger at no one.

i would be too embarrassed to see that.

Ya that or they are expecting to hear 2 Chainz or some bad Hip Hop music lol.

I don't play mine that loud that I think people hear it but I'm a R&B, Hip Hop guy with some Electronic Music mixed in.

I remember getting looks when playing the "Drive" soundtrack or when I play British Hip Hop like "The Streets"

i'm so far the opposite direction from everyone in here lol

i love when people shoot weird looks from 1 of 3 things when i pull up.

1. straight pipe downshift sound that makes most jump.
2. horror when i have on deathcore/hardcore stuff on like chelsea grin or suicide silence
3. confusion when i have dubstep playing.

Chuck Berry is high on my play list---but none of you guys know the music from those days. Like the guy in the movie said, "Rock 'n Roll ain't been no good since Buddy Holly died."
