Turning a normal 370z to a NISMO ?

Just a simple question.. Are there any kits/packages available in the market that can turn a normal 370z to look like a nismo? (Exterior only) Thanks

OEM... full kit costs like 10K

Should just get a real Nismo if that's what you want - it's got better suspension, wheels, and tune as well. They make the OEM body kit uber expensive to keep a bunch of Base "Nismos" off the streets. Btw, all this information can be found by using the Search function

Full kit is not 10k.
Even if you buy the full kit from the dealership which is the most expensive way to do it, you will be out about 6,000 tops.

I still think my hyperbole is acceptable let's just say that for the cost of the full OEM Nismo body kit, there are numerous alternatives out there that are less expensive and/or as good or better looking in the eyes of many of the members of this forum

I don't think any other kit is any cheaper than the factory Nismo, if you compare full front bumper, side, rear not lip kits.
Now you can get replica Amuse kits for the cheap, but not a 1:1 comparison on material used & fitment.

I thought the authentic Amuse kit was one of the more expensive kits and was just barely more than the Nismo kit. Maybe there just aren't as many full kits out there as I thought. But you're right about the replicas - no comparison.

I guess my line of thought is that it seems like the Nismo has a lot of different parts that aren't part of the aesthetics of the kit but are needed for fitment vs an aftermarket body kit designed specifically to replace the main five pieces on the base model (2 bumpers, 2 side skirts, 1 spoiler). I noticed in dm's thread that the extra recommended items just for the Nismo front bumper conversion totaled almost $1K (MSRP). Of course, not all these pieces are probably necessary to install the main visual components of the kits, so I'm sure that, along with diligent price searching and a good compromise on which parts are installed, you could save significantly off the dealer price for the kit. I do wonder what the potential cost difference could be. Maybe $4K for a DIYer with minimal parts? And what about a dealer invoice nearing 10K if you include all possible relevant parts and install costs?

The second post had a link to the marketplace where you can search for Nismo componants. We're not going to do your homework

If you don't have a build # it's not a nismo. I happen to have a spare nismo plaque I will sell you to complete the conversion. Just another 10k.

All these posers and wanna-be...

The Nismo was suppose to be a track ready sports car.....except.....you'll need an oil cooler, brake cooling upgrade, brake pad upgrade, brake fluid upgrade ......etc. etc.

...and then of course there's the fact that most Nismo owners will rarely, if ever go on a real race track. Maybe you're right though. It's not a real Nismo unless some Asian dude in Japan says so...but so what?
