We (some of us) get carbon fiber products for either or both of the 2 of the following reasons.
1. Its lighter and gives us weight reduction which will allow us to perform better and or 2. Its appealing to the eye to many and most just like it for its neat appearance. For those who want it for reason 2 is just for looks. To some eyes it makes the car look sharper / more agressive just like anything else such as a paint job or a new shift know or sport pedals. Simple as that. We make them for those who like them. |

I would consider the film as an inexpensive way to cover the very soft and very easily scratched pillars. That single stage paint really scratches easily. I think it will look awesome with PG paint. I'm thinking of doing the fangs as well when I get my Z.

The pillars are plastic. They almost look like black glass but they are plastic....

Yeah, while I like the SpawnAeroJohn products, justifying $200 for a set of stick on CF B Pillars is pretty tough. I'd have to hand my wife my balls along with a hammer if she found those arriving in the mail.
A look alike CF tape that will cover all the little nicks in my plastic B pillars would be very welcome in my book though. |
