Best Aftermark
I would imagine the feelings are mutual on the 370z, so I'll say it this way, I'd imagine NO one wants to put any low end brands on their Z. With that being said and being new what are some higher end brands for aftermarket parts? I've heard of quite a few such as AEM, K&N, Injen, ect., but what are the better brands for certain parts like Exhausts/mufflers, Air Intakes, tires/wheels and so forth? I'm asking for preferential as well tested comparisons but any comment and/or suggestion is welcomed!

Agreed. There's a subset of Z owners who are stretching to even get in the car, so they cheap out on important parts. They would rather have new crap than used quality when it comes to aftermarket parts.

Welcome :hello: Looks like your not getting much help here. There are several reputable companies out there. I would suggest you spend a week or so combing through the intake & exhaust & tire & wheel section threads for your research. There is a lot of great information & ideas of guys that run such product on their car. Usually with lots of :pics: too. When you get it narrowed down to which direction you want to go, then check in with that. I say be patient, do your research & know what you want to do before you pay the $$$$ & you will have a ride that you'll enjoy.

Its not all about the money. If you want to slap $2k exhaust system on your car and gain just as much as that $700 exhaust than more power to you.
I look for the best bang for buck. There are some obvious stuff I will never skip out on but for somethings like shift knobs, intakes, exhausts, test pipes, ect. Sometimes it isn't worth the high price. A good example would be AAM's short tails, yes its a quality part and it is the best axle back you can buy, but you can take your car down to a muffler shop and have some muffler delete pipes fabricated for much less than the price of the short tails, will it be the same quality of the short tails? Probably not, but you got what you wanted and it works. |

Injen, AEM, and stillen are the preferred intakes around here. akuma makes a great looking piece too. all designed very similar. all are similarly designed and cost about the same. probably best bang for the buck TRUE cold air systems
if u wanna drop a little more coin u can go with the new litespeed titanium intake system that just came out http://www.the370z.com/members/lites...air-intake.jpg now if u really wanna get the jdm lovers nut swinging around here, u can go with top secret. but those are waaaaaay pricey http://bespoke-public-product-images...0d_615x461.jpg |
there are great deals in classifieds all the time. You can get top quality stuff in great shape for a great price.

I rock sportline TE.6 wheels for three reasons. 1) I'm not made of money. 2) I would absolutely shoot myself if I messed up 3,500 worth of rims. 3) they are spun forged almost as strong as volks, and for 1,300 a set cant complain. Attachment 72712 |
