Hey, CSC is a NISSAN problem, and the OP is still having issues... That sucks.
IMO, the OP shouldn't have gotten a replacement at the dealershit, the aftermarkets are 10 times better

What's most frustrating is that the slave cylinder repair, and the problem has not been corrected. The clutch and pedal does engage but the clutch pedal does not automatically come back into place after use. This was originally diagnosed as being a bad slave cylinder. I have taken it back, where the dealership (Don Davis) has bleed the lines, to remedy the problem....did not work.

I do not race or drive my care at excessive speeds or harshly. I have owned other cars and have never had as many problems as I have had with this car. It is my first Nissan product and will be my last. Completely Frustrated!
I bought an '09, new, also and haven't had any problems. I fear you just got a bad unit. It happens with every make and model. Luck of the draw, so to speak. I'd sell it and move on. Get an other car you'll enjoy and hopefully have no problems with. Life's too short for aggravation like that.

Are you sure the car was not defective when you bought it? We had a incident here several years ago when a big dealer was caught selling Honda's as new when in fact they had been declared "totaled" as a result of a flood elsewhere in the country..

The dealer had sold many such cars until one woman found out the cars were defective. She went to the dealer and demanded her money back. Like an ***, he refused and so she went to the dealer commission and that started an investigation that eventually resulted in this company loosing four large dealerships..

Nissan Spain is a complete disaster initially trying to impugn me for fraud one day!.
OK, so the car's really great...and takes my boxer dog in the back...but.

Yes!

I specified a "made in 2010 car". That's on the contract and the dealer put it in the Government license booklet ("reg book" or "Matriculation book").
In Europe a 2010 car is Euro5 spec.
This one turns out to be Euro4 and minus some 2010 parts.
Actually they made a complete mess of all the paperwork ...part of the scam....made me into a suspicious character cos nothing matches up.
Nissan routinely avoided registered letters or e-mails.
It took me 2.5 years of aggro for Nissan to admit the car was made in May 2009....and it broke down --VVEL relays and steering lock warranty denied then, so I have a laugh now a new lock is offered...but even supplying that strains Nissan Spain!
(European VINs conceal the date of manufacture, despite Wikepedia who are wrong !).
Dealer stonewalls the date and "didn't know" and still stonewalls....but Nissan's invoice to her shows the year model "MY09" and "Euro4" is elsewhere.
Nissan actually help the dealer in this scam...and still do.

The car's super (in spite of small problems). The customer service network exists to push loads of paper and to push me into accusations of fraud if I have an insurance claim or try to sell it.

Angry? You bet! Who needs this non-stop aggro? ...and I don't ask for USA style compensation and penalties.

Fritz,
