I've got wheel locks on every lug. I'd like to see some MF come under my carport and try to steal my wheels. I'd cut his head off and turn it into a hood ornament.

Dammmmmm that why you park in the garage 24/7. People are thirsty to get a piece of your Z, even if its not for sale. :roflpuke2:

If they wont get you a check, see if the body shop will order you some Nismo wheels!!

Yep gonna get me a tilt/glass breakage alarm that ties into my existing system ASAP. I live in Orlando area too! As I have said, I see a few non Z asian cars with Rays on them down here, I just assume they're stolen...
The cost of the alarm more than justifies the hassle it will hopefully avoid.

Dammn thats sucks man sorry to hear about that, thats why im glad i park in a gated garage now even though its probably not much safer lol...but yeaa im sure if you keep an eye out towards the BVL area or kissimmee youre bound to see the wheels show up at a local meet or some little teeny bopper ricer meet. I live in orlando as well and just like fountainhead said you see all the cars that dont belong to the wheels rolling around on them. its pisses me off that people stoop to that level. A few years back one of my old cars got broken into out here in orlando and it mustve been a crackhead because they took my sneakers from my trunk and change from my center console :icon14: lol...But if it was my Z i wouldve gone DJANGO on someone :bowrofl:

Maybe a dumb question because I never had an alarm before, but is there a device out there where you can walk up to a car and fry the whole electrical system? This is gay but kind of like fast and furious 2 where they shoot the cars with that electric gun thing. I hear alarms all the time and no one gives a **** its going off. To me your **** is still getting stolen.

Good point, Guess the next solution would be a pager unit that sends info to the iPhone and rings an alarm? Or to a remote (like I need another dongle on my keychain).

yah, not very scientific, but tie a kite to the car on a stormy day. :ugh:

Very helpful -- if one is a kindergartner. Why are you even wasting people's time with your inane and imbecilic posts?

I thought it was kinda funny. Without a bit of humor on here this forum would be pretty dry. I see you have Don Knotts in your profile pic. You must have a funny bone somewhere in there...

First there are no dumb questions only dumb . There are 2 ways you can fry a system both are not practical (and leave the cars whole electrical system destroyed) and it is more reasonable to just go online and download the alarm installation manual and disable it in less then 5min.

A. Electrostatic Discharge, fancy for a spark or lightening bolt. And even a bolt of lighting wont hurt a car because of the metal body work. You need to remove all shielding (metal parts) around the device and only then would the part be vulnerable to damage from something like a tesla coil (spark generator).
B. Explosively pumped flux compression generator (fancy name for a coil of wire and fireworks). These make huge magnetic fields and currents but require an explosion to to get their energy.

So the stuff in movies is just that.

It's him -- personally.
