Shift bleep notification
Do you guys leave your upshift bleep notification stock at 7500 rpm's or do you adjust it? I am thinking about adjusting it to 3500 or so.. Also I was playing around with my paddles the past few days and thought it would be cool if there was a voice notification to shift because I was so focused on the road and not my tac.

Just to get used to the paddles and smooth shifting. In auto it irritates me when I'm going 40 and the car is in 6th gear and boggy when it should be in 3rd or 4th. So I have been having to paddle down and get used to it. If I'm going 40 it's in 6th gear and if I don't mash the peddle it kinda just bogs along. But when I mash it... It of course lags a little bit and downshifts to the gear it needs to be and "GOES" so I'm trying to get more used to just manually shifting.

Not sure why'd you want to move it to 3500 rpm? That'd be really annoying. The power really kicks in when you hit 4000+, but of course you don't want to stay there unless your on a track or doing really aggressive driving.
I would just practice with the manual shifting, get to learn the rpm vs speed correlations. Sometimes I'll downshift too many times and it will bang on the limiter for a second or two. Its a learning process.

I set mine at 5500. I'm getting old and stupid(er) and find myself forgetting sometimes whether I'm in auto or manual mode....the flashing light at 5500 is a reminder to stop trying to remember if I took my Geratol and to pay attention to the fun at hand.

Leave car in manual mode all the time, shift gears like you would in a standard, enjoy the SRM. Learn to listen and feel the car and don't look at the shift light.
This car gear hunts and lags like all ATīs, manual mode is way more fun.

Yes I agree about the gear hunting and that is what is disappointing to me. If I want juice! I have to floor it and expect a bit of lag for it to downshift and give me what I want! Otherwise if I just want more speed and push on the pedal, it still stays In 6th gear at 40-50 mph at 1500 rpm's. It's irritating! So its like either punch it and expect lag and power or paddle down 2 gears and get the power I need! So that being said! I'm going to start using trip or the paddles.

I played with it, but ended up leaving it at like 7,000. I never get the shift light to turn on, because I drive like a grandma, but it's there.

Mine's set at 7200, so I have a chance to shift before I slam into the rev limiter. It was really handy during breakin as well.

Mine is set at 7,000 rpm and my ears tell me to shift as well.
