Buying a 370z soon, need help

first time on this forum, im looking to buy a new 370z but i need to know which version is worth buying ? . i was thinking of getting the touring with sports package and navi. going to cost me about 45k. which version is worth buying ? which package is worth getting?

im deciding between a evo mr / 370z / infinity g37.

First you should figure out what you need, what you want, and what you can live without. Then go to the nissan website and find out which one fits YOU.

Which one is worth buying? Just get the Evo....

Evos a tin can though that's good for track only. The term "race the evo at track, drive the Subaru home" didn't come from just no where.

Whatever it is, make it a sports model.

If its your primary car I wouldn't buy a Z.

Best deal is the sports manual package for around $36K delivered the touring nav package is not really worth the extra 10K

I say go drive them all. Then chose what you want and will live with for 5 years. YOu want fit and finish then no evo. It's cheap inside. The G or M37 (Infinity is changing everything into M) will be a lot more comfy and really nice fit and finish. However it wont be as sporty as the other two. The 370 is in between the two I think. I preferred the 370 over them as I want a sport car but wanted it to feel like it was a 40k car unlike the evo. IF you want more engine/sport then get the evo. If you want engine/sport with decent fit and finish, get the 370. If your a family man or need the space, get a evo or 37.

IDK about you but I it just don't sit right to me to spend 40k and have interior that feels plastic and dodge neon like.

Either way, go drive them all, but don't buy any right away. Go home and read up on the car you like for a week. After this, you go shopping. Try the car again and compare. Then see if you decide you can work your magic for the car. As you test drive, spit out some info to show the sale guy you know things. This way, he most likely won't try and bs you. When I bought my car, I told him more things than he knew about the car. He stopped the BS and knew I was serious. I then told him, "I like the car. Lets work some numbers. If I like the number, I buy. If not, I walk. The only thing is that I deal in Out the Door Prices." Then he said "Ok, Let's talk."

OTD prices is best and easiest way to buy imo. You you dont have to worry about how much they charge for TTT, dealer fee or anything. Just end price when you drive off the lot, as long as you think it's a good deal.

if youve thought about one alot more than the other for any reason, id suggest that one...i went against my loveo f a 370 cause i didnt get approved, drove a stang for fun, got hooked on the power during the test drive, GOT approved, and bought it

i regret it more than any other decision in my 21 years of living

The sport package for the price is a very very nice upgrade that if you were to try to duplicate it post market would probably cost you 3-4 times as much. A BBS alone is in the 6-7K range at least. The synchro rev is awesome on the 6MT. And the rear spoiler is functional and worth another grand or so, plus adds to the styling.

The touring package is also a very nice upgrade in terms of style and making the car a lot more attractive inside. If this car is going to be your daily driver, then it makes you feel like you are in an Audi or a Cadillac. My interior blows away my buddy's M3 interior, and it's on par with anything <80K that I have seen.

I think both packages are more than worth the money. I paid 31K for a 2012 sport+touring(no nav) with 26K on it. not sure if you want to buy new or not, but dropping one year off of it can drop the price significantly.

I just recently bought a new never owned 2012 7AT Z. And I love my Z I just wish it had a bit more power after being in my friends GTO and Vette. The car does handle great though and is beautiful! I did go head to head legally with my friends 07 Vette in my Z, and he did of course win but by only "maybe" half a car length. I wish I recorded it. I'm not sure what the deal is.... But it seems like Nissan uses cheap paint and clear coat because I have gotten so many little rock chips/scratches.

Ask for it at 32k, see what they will work with it at. Nismo is a tough sell because it's a narrow market for buyers.

I looked at Touring and Sport models and ultimately think of the Touring as having some significant negatives for my particular circumstances.

I like a nice car stereo, and even Nissans best offering needs replacement. Moreover, the nav is outdated the day you get it and the screen quality comical. I actually like Nissans cloth better than their leather. I'm a decent sized guy and often find myself having to wear a shirt and tie in the summer - way too sweaty w leather.

I'm so glad I went with what I did, although others could reasonably disagree.
