Mustang recaro's fit in 370z?
So, im back, and after a buddy traded in his '13 mustang with track pack only and 20k miles for 29k, im most likely goin to be doin the same. Considering mine is a year newer and will have half those miles, i should be able to get at least that, which is the payoff amount. More by the time i do it around february. And then i can get my lovely z34 DDD
Anywho, my question is does anyone know if or think the recaros in the new mustangs will fit in the 370? I know they are incredibly expensive and i REALLY dont want to part with them and go back to normal stock seats in any car. Not to mention, it wont increase my trade in value 3k so id rather keep them if theyd be of use. Any info would be great! And yes, i have searched google and found nothing |

I have no idea if they fit but you should sell those recaros and save for suspension mods. The stock 370Z has suspect scary sloppy handling and horrible tires. You're gonna need swift springs and better tires.

I know for sure you'll need to fab some custom mounts. They should fit height/width wise.

Jungle has never wrote anything worth reading in all his post.
The tires that come with the 370Z is a great tire! I never had a complaint and I track my car every Friday (when i am in Texas) I only got PSS because they were on sale for 20 inch tires. People buy Swifts to get rid of the gap between the tire and fender not cause the Z drives like shiat!

Ya that's why almost every reviewer says the 370z is scary to push to the limit on every stock car they tested . Even the most experienced drivers have the tail swinging out.

Where did you find these findings jungle? Post some links.
People do say after they install the Swifts the car handles better, does not mean they just switched the springs out for handling. It was because of the gap.

The mustang gt is almost as fast as an m3 on a track at a cheaper price tag and the 370z needs like 2000$ in suspension and tires at least to be respectable and not feel like you're going to die when you push the limits.

Swift springs reduce body roll and make the car feel more planted. Imagine Chris Harris doing a 370z review with swifts and Bridgestone re11 he wouldn't say the brz is more fun..

I have a 13 sport. I haven't measured everything (sway bar sizes etc) but I don't have body roll. My WRX with koni adjustables with RCE yellows (330 lbs) and my friends 11 STI can't touch the stiffness of these stock components.
