Default Curious Question

Just a curious question.

I took my car on a 250 mile trip today (temps were 91) and just kept an eye on the oil temp. I ran at a fairly constant 220.

Is there a wide variation from car to car (just 370Zs) as it pertains to "normal" oil temp?

220 sounds normal to me for that type of driving.

220 is the norm...

its the spirited driving that gets the oil temps up there...

you'll notice that once you start passing people (cuz they drive really slow, and there's always Semi's in your way), that the oil temp will increase, but once you get down to a constant speed the temp will go back to the norm, about 220.

doesnt matter how much i grandma style it, i am at 220. I have no idea what would happen if i drove it aggressive, but since i am only on the street, grandma style will have to do.
