Good luck to you on your marriage and the Jeep. I have a good feeling that you'll be back some day. I tried leaving once and the Z pulled me right back in. Take care!

GL with it all. I love the GC's, Jeep did pretty good with it. MY Wife is against me selling the car, even if we had kids, changed jobs, lost job, w/e. I nearly lost mine last month over a lot of BS and had to think about selling it if need be, she said that's not an option. We're a bit more modern and new school in our relationship. At one point in time she was supporting me as I transitioned between school, Army and work, then we both made similar amounts of money, then I made considerably more and told her to focus on school. When she's done, we will be making similar amounts again. To live our lifestyle and keep me at home, we both work, we both clean, we both do everything equally. We as Men were taught to provide, but gender roles are really just "roles" and the only thing that is permanent is who can actually have babies. Anyways, GL with everything, and get some dirt on that Jeep!

SRT8 is SICK, but I couldn't justify the 65k price tag. (or afford it) :ughdance: Yes, I do own a lot of tools. I enjoy wrenching. I've owned two prior DSM's and two Evo's. I'm a mitsu nut. (well, till the Z rolled around in my life) My 97 GSX had 160k miles on the chassis and stock block when I was running 12.0's in the quarter all while being my daily driver through college. As long as its taken care of and modded with the right parts, those cars are good. Its a shame that most owners these days are douchebags and the cars are whored out more than civics. I'm in no rush to buy. I'd rather wait for that diamond in the rough. |

Wedding planning sucks, especially in NJ. Any half decent place is charging minimum $150 per person. If it wasn't for my wife and my family, I honestly wouldn't have one. Every fight we've had in our relationship is about our wedding. |
That's the catch- finding one that hasn't been beat to death and riced out beyond repair.

He said "it's not about the dress, the banquet room, the cake or even if the flowers don't show up. It's about the commitment & union you two are making. Focus on this and you will have the best wedding ever". He was right! Once again, Congrats on the wedding and best of luck to you & your fiancé  |

I actually did the opposite of you. Bought a house, got married, then traded my practical car for the Z. Figured I'd get my toy while it's just us. |
Congrats on the new ride! The new redesign looks quite nice.

How bout 2 car payments, quarter mil mortgage, kids in private school, full time nanny......marriage is only the beginning...don't spend much on flowers...Happiness and Joy:stirthepot:

Sorry you had to let the Z go but you made the right choice. A house is a better investment than a car, well, a car is 99% never an investment. You get what I mean though. Houses used to be a good investment anyway....id rather put my money into them anyway.

I'll give him 5 years until he sitting in his garage with a couple of his buddies, drinking beer and talking about the "good 'ole days" when he owned a Nissan 370Z.
