Absolutely spoiler, I bought a ebay aftermarket and pre-painted, spot on and with great instruction for mounting it. No fear of drilling, quite easy and since it is aluminum, no worries about rust. Still make sure to use lots of silicone.

I could not decide either in the beginning but showed pictures with and without to my wife, who absolutely hates spoilers, but even she agreed it gives the Z the finish touch.

It was ordeal since I bought it painted. When it arrived, the color (gun metallic) wasn't even close. Took about a month to get the matter resolved Carid.com. Fortunately, my good friend owns a auto detail shop and painted it for cost. Otherwise, it would have been more expensive. Had to scan the paint to get the right mixing codes. It was hard to match since every panel is slightly a different color. Nissan does a lot of great things, painting just isn't one of them.
RN SHARK likes this.

Yikes....very interesting! That scares me and it was one of the things I was worried about since I was told that it comes prepainted. I was going to have a body shop that works in conjunction with my Nissan Dealer install it after I ordered it through the Parts Dept at the dealer. Now I plan to ask the body shop if they will paint it if the prepainted color does not match to my satisfaction. Thanks for the info!

Hope you have better luck than I did. In reality, CY is probably easier to match and you probably won't have the color variance between panels. Getting a pre painted spoiler would probably work for you. Most of the spoilers all come with a template so they are easy to install. Glad to help...
