2 avg cart bags (as in promo pic) = no way, those bags are undersized, the accessory pockets of my avg size cart bag sits several inches higher than the one closest to strut brace in promo pic, would not come close to fitting at the 2nd bag position in the photo. 1 cart bag + 1 avg stand bag = will fit with longer clubs and umbrellas removed but very tight fit. Any combo of smaller bags should fit with less issues. The promo pic is never gonna happen. Does anyone else here remember the Tim Conway "Dorf plays golf" character? I can fit 2 large bags at an angle, with the heads of the clubs resting on the support member. I'm pretty sure Dorf could fit in there, too.

I posted that pic with the Ogio bag and I'm still stoked that everything fits as well as it does. I had been taking out my driver and five wood, but learned that with the little hollow in the left side, you can tip in the first (Ogio) bag in, clubheads first without taking anything out (like nextbesthing describes). It's a big-ish stand bag, and my wife's small-ish stand bag with four woods fits easily enough on the angle with the bottom resting a bit on the brace.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to see if my set of clubs fit. Well, they do but I needed to take out the woods and put them in the section just behind the strut brace (in the trunk). Then the set fitted at the back of the trunk (taillight to taillight). But then there's the dilemma - where does the golf buggy go? I could probably make it fit behind the passenger seat, with seat fully moved forward. But... it really isn't practical and would take a lot of time getting everything in and out of the car. I know I could hire a buggy at the course but that defeats the purpose of having my own. Thankfully I have a 2nd car (97 Impreza) and that can fit the buggy and full set of clubs in the boot. Oh well, is there any true sports car with a good amount of luggage space?

Golf Bag
I drive my 09 to the golf course every week. I take the driver and three wood out and place them right behind the stabilizer bar. Then I place my bag with the remainder of the clubs across the back. Then I place my folded 3-wheel cart between the bag and the stabilizer bar. And of course I put my golf shoes and other small items in too. All of this fits in the back every golf day. I checked that my golf clubs would fit before I bought the car.

I'm pretty sure the Clampetts strapped Granny up there, too!
