ive always loved the Z community...you guys are tightly knit, yet are more open and even compliment cars other than the Z..makes me feel so warm inside..when i check out other forums..i.e. camaro5 or clubwrx...their "vs." sections are pretty redundant and unrealistic claims.."the camaro owns all"..tho there is some hate with the 350 and 370...it is bearable..the 370z is just the new kid on the block..G35 owners would say that i have an ugly car and its much slower...i just shrug it off cuz I know they are pulling those statements out of their behinds

Those were great pics. I would love to go to one of those meets, if nothing else just for the fact that they are at a Sonic, and we don't have any of those near me. I love Sonic.

LOL...the last meet I went to up at Altered...the 350 guys stayed away from me like I had the plague. The only one that talked to me was when my car was on the dyno...he felt the need to tell me how the 350 looked sooo much better than the 370 and he would never buy one.

Who does that at a meet? Honestly?

Even if you don't like what somebody has, you still respect it and go on your merry way. You dont stop to tell them how shitty you think their ride is. Thats when I lost all respect for 350 owners. Maybe it was just one guy giving everyone a bad rep, but still.

it is bound to happen with a new model, like I mentioned it happened to me when I first got the 350Z and had the same reactions from 300ZX owners, I just killed them with kindness and compliments about the 300ZX and they eventually came around, just go to meets and make a point to meet the people

Respect is respect anywhere you go. Don't sweat the intimidated, just be a leader and enjoy an already too short life!

That meet looked great! I am always floored by just how many different front ends grace the Z32's. Still one of my favorites (even though it's a fat pig) LOL J/K!!

Great pics

Imo I could care less if anyone liked or disliked what I drive. I never seek anyones approval, except maybe the wifes.

Westpak, I'm glad to see I'm not the only original O3 owner who still has his 03 350Z. Your car still looks good! Hopefully before long I'll have a 370Z to go along with my 350Z.

I also agree with Westpak. All Zs are nice. I don't hate any of them. I like them all.

I must agree.....you and I were the only 370Z's up there and I only spoke with you and of course the guys at Altered when the car was on the dyno. And I remember you and I walked around taking photos of all the 350's and giving them props about their cars. I saw two people walk over and peek thru the window of my Z....and after they finished looking they looked around like "Whew, I hope nobody saw me actually looking interested in this 370!"

WTF?
Who said anything about waving? Only time I wave is if it is another 370 that I have never seen, most of the time if I drive in the same direction as another Z owner I just do a head nod and move along. Other option for many is the universal thumbs up for "nice car/ride/etc."

So, complimenting others for having a nice car is "ghey?"
