The VQ won't handle over 500 safe for long man. For short spurts it can but not for long periods. It won't get close to 600 or higher without a rebuild.

so u're saying the gsr which is not as well quipped as the mr will make a faster time than the better equipped mr by 0.05 sec? well then, obviously the 370z is still faster! the evo's lap time, per your "correction value", is 1.28.17, well what do u know, u beat the z4, congrats. but really now, u're still slower by at least .67 seconds

first off the mr is no longer a more performance oriented version of the evo (the 2010's are getting a sun roof and leather seats) haha your really excited about .67 sec quicker lap? the car has four doors less power (on a stock tune) and weighs more ,and its that close..no one that buys an evo leaves it stock for anytime at all because they are made as a base for aftermarket parts (thats why they didn't come with direct injection so the injectors can be upgraded with out much expense)..what would have happens if they used a fq-320 360 or 400 model...the 400 is a competitor to your cars big brother, and its a 4 cylinder!. and should i mention that the evo is a RALLY car..would you like to put a 370 against an evo on its home turf... no doubt both are great performing cars and i like to be open to different cars and appreciate their strong points...thats why i am on this forum

i really don't give a sh*t if the mr is no longer a performance orientated version for 2010, doesn't change a thing since top gear tested an 08 model and mitsu never released the '10 model yet. the 370z still beats ur evo.
i think u should go read the specs on the mr vs gsr, mr has upgraded suspensions. and who was the one crying over time a page or 2 ago

haha there are so many things wrong with your "burn" im not even going to reply..but jfyi rally means on the dirt, and my car is 20 years old and will still beat your car

dude take it ez man..we are all enthusiasts here..if you wanna do vague challenging go post on youtube..but yea i considered an evo x..despite having awd and 4 doors...it has poor fuel economy 16/22 and has a 14 gallon tank...itll be a challenge to beat 300miles on a tank..and i kinda need a larger than because I dont want to fill up every 3 days due to my 80+mile per day commutes...another thing that is affecting me is its weight...it's gained some poundage over the 9 and is clearly heavier than the Z...other than that the evo is a performance bargain..I am considering the Z, EvoX, 135i and maybe a Camaro SS..I like the fact that the Z is just winning every comparison against 135i, Z4, RX8, Solstice GXP, Mustang, Genesis..and its an improvement in every possible way over the 350z..the EvoX is has not improved as much over the IX as the 370z with the 350z..they used a cayman as its benchmark...which is a higher level of engineering..you could say the 370z is Japan's corvette..
