If anyone wants to drive an automatic, for reasons that suit them, then that's all gravy.

The Z is an excellent car with either transmission. I loved mine, and I'm sure auto drivers love theirs.

Life's too short to care about what other people drive lol

Actually I would pass on any Auto old school Muscle car, unless it was for the 1/4 mile only..

I have owned Muscle cars since 1976 and a stick is the only way to road course the cars...Auto matics hesitate on downshift and then suddely lock the rear tires...They are primative Treansmissions and only a stick with heel to toe driving is the way to safely race road courses, IMO...On older Muscle cars only..

I would.

It was pretty when there weren't 9,000,000 replica's out there.

Kind of a boring car now.

I wouldn't pass on it because it's an auto. I'd pass on it because it costs as much as all the other cars I want combined and it's too valuable to drive. It's pretty much a museum piece. That being said, that is so ******* cool.

I sometimes get self conscious whenever there's a sporty car next to me because I feel like he/she is going to judge me for driving an automatic. So what I would do is leave my car in neutral during stoplights and then manual shift with delays in between shifts so it can sound and look like I'm driving a manual.

I wish I had a manual sometimes.

I drive a 6MT, but I don't judge people who drives 7AT.

It's true 6MT is more fun.. but nothing wrong with 7AT

Don't worry about people juding you...

If a person judge you by the transmission... then he/she is an idiot.

Your insecure about your 7AT? Man I wish someone would talk **** about me driving a 7AT. Not that i'm a tough guy but at the same time I wouldn't care or take crap from a random person and wha they thought of me and my car.

I love my 7AT, it's a personal preference
I am a very skilled Manuel driver but there is something about the 7AT and what it feels like when your hanging the curves downshifting or upshifting with the paddles,

I love my 7AT, but would probably love a 6MT just a little more. The 7AT, however, saves me the occasional embarrassment of missing a 2-3 shift when it counts. I married outside my bracket, so I had to concede the transmission, which was probably a good call at the end of the day.

Pfft... who misses shifts?

Rookies...

I've done this a couple of times this past week.

Though, one was due to me watching this chick jog across the street...

I am very impressed with the 7AT. Shifts are fairly quick considering it is not a DCT and produces epic downshifts when paired with an exhaust. Overall I am pleased with it and I can throw it into D whenever I just want to take it easy.
