Nismo or boss ?

I've never driven a nismo is it that more thrilling compared to base 3.7 with fast Intentions exhaust In a straight line?

Perhaps on a flat track where the differences are negligible. Try racing on a track with a lot of elevation changes and you'll definitely feel the difference (the Nordschleife, especially the Karussell corner comes to mind).

Funny you mentioned that...

I was at Shenandoah Circuit two weeks ago... at Summit Point. I usually have the throttle planted through their Karussell. It's actually one of the points on the track where I can catch higher HP cars... Also there are plenty of changes in elevation...

So I would have to disagree...

The rear stayed well planted... never had issues with the throttle diving in or exiting... Lots of confidence in that and probubly one of my favorite areas.

EDIT: oh and that BOSS eventually passed me. lolz

You are such a liar. You and that Boss are obviously going 10 mph in that picture because live axles can't handle anything but flat surfaces.

Edit: I just called the owner of the pictured Mustang and he too confirmed he was only touring the 'Ring at 10 mph. The maximum possible speed for a Mustang on anything but a flat surface.

You guys are right. Cars with a solid axle will perform as well on a track as a car with IRS. Look, I can post pics of a vehicle exiting a corner as well. Unfortunately, it doesn't show how fast it's going, or how slow it is in relation to the cars around it.

Bottom line, with all things being equal: power, torque, weight, engine layout, and weight, a car with IRS will put power to the ground more efficiently than a car with a solid rear axle. There's really no denying it.

No one is denying it. But you guys are making it sound like it's impossible for a SRA car to perform when it's been proven time and time again that they can. Even when those with experience say that their setups are very settled, it's still impossible because it's a solid axle, and well, if you guys say it can't, then it can't!

And like it has been mentioned many times before, for an IRS setup to be better than a well sorted SRA, the geometry has to be right. There are more mediocre independent rear suspension setups out there than there are good ones.
