Yes the button by the shifter if you hold that button (the syncrorev button) the s on the cluster will disappear. Why would you want to turn your syncro rev off?

I like to rev match myself... when I leave SRM on, I find myself fighting the computer

I turn it on to show it to friends and I would probably use my first time on a track until I get more comfortable.

Wait until that first time you have it on as you approach a hairpin. While braking, the downshift will try to accelerate your car if you're a late shifter like me. Brakes on plus acceleration on the dragon: pissed me off so bad I still haven't turned mine back on since ZDayZ.
