First 3 things you do once you get in your Z?
 

So I was driving around with a friend yesterday

I always find it interesting to see people drivings habits.

Besides him not signaling which was annoying, the 4 times we got into the car, he adjusted his seat every time which I thought was weird. I know once I have my sweet spot I don't dare change it lol.

Also didn't put his seatbelt on till about 2 mins into driving.

I was curious whats the first 3 things people do when they step into their Z.

For me:

- Push Start
- Seat Belt On
- VDC OFF

I let RPM's come back down to 1K, Ipod kicks in on the nav then drive away :tup:

Push Start
Seatbelt on
Press garage door button on homelink mirror

1. Phone video recording
2. Push the start button/pray to Christ the car starts
3. Pop hood, get out of car, record engine running on 4 cylinders

1. Push start button
2. Seat belt
3. Disengage the E-brake

look around
smell car
turn on gopro

1. Auto Windows down...
2. Start Button
3. Put my Shadezz on :vuvuzela: on off I go

I wish the homelink worked on the condo parking garage door, tried it, didn't work

Look at the Killer Touring Interior.

Smell the Leather.

Smile.

Push start
Plug on my phone and select my playlist
Turn vcd off and wait for the car to warm up

1.Enter and push start i will treat as one motion
2. Put on the type of music im in the mood to hear. Usually something aggressive.
3.seat belt and out.

Exactly what I do except i've never turned the VDC off, whats it like?

Clutch In
Push Start
Windows Down (or Turn AC ON if raining)

There's also:

Seat Belt On
VDC OFF

and I always use my turn signal and am bothered when riding with people who don't :tiphat:

Clutch Pedal, Start, Iheartradio

Clutch pedal, start button, seat belt

Push Start
Immediately rev to 5-7k rpm
Pop gear through N to D and do a donut before I drift out of the parking lot.

Like others I always:

- Start button
- Seat belt
- Plug in phone and play music

3a. if outside: open windows
3b. if inside/cool: sit and look around and appreciate, maybe swing a microfiber rag around a bit to dust.

(I may fap a bit now and then, but only maintenance faps for later. I save up for more ferocity on stop and go roads)

Push start .
Get out of car, Go back inside cause I always forget something (meanwhile car warms up)
Reverse and I'm off

1. Chug a bottle of beer.
2. Start the car.
3. Shift to reverse and crash...dang it, the driveway gate was still opening.

2. Connect/Pair Bluetooth and Charge Phone
3. Seat Belt
3. Music.
3. Take off
3. VDC off

push start, seatbelt , vdc off

put e brake down and go into 1st or Reverse

-fix floor matt because its screwed and im to lazy to replace it.

Other than the obvious ones (clutch in, push start, seatbelt)...

1. Put phone in holder and connect AUX cable. Start blasting Periphery
2. Remove brake
3. Shades on, clutch out.
4. Pretend I'm cooler than I really am.

With rolling codes sometimes it also can take a few trys to get homelink to "learn"

FYI my ipod never leaves the car except to update it.

First adjust the seat because the wife always has it screwed up for me, I have to do that before entering the car because she is such a small thing. Seat belt, start button. Put the 7 AT in manual as soon as I get back out of the garage.

Mine starts from outside the car
1. I do a 360 around the car to see if any "Ding Gremlins" that live in my complexs parking garage decided to visit my car over night.
2. Get in, Start car & release E-brake
3.connect my phone to AUX cable, put on Pandora radio and pray i didnt use up all my free music for the month :woot:

I get in, push start, get out and let it warm up a little. When im ready to go, seatbelt on, radio or ipod... good to go :tup:

Take my wallet out of my rear pocket
push in clutch
start car
roll down windows "unless raining"
"Hope" that iPod resumes in the last place in my playlist, been having an issue there lately.

^^ you place that wallet in your front pants pocket? if you get into an accident, your wallet could fly out of the car and paramedics will have a hard time determining who you are.

same goes with your phones. keep it in your pocket or locked down.

back to topic. :D

1. Start car
2. Turn on Bluetooth on my phone to play music
3. Press VCD
4. Press cruise control

1. start car
2. try my best to not fart
3. roll down windows to let fart out

Adjust seat, adjust wheel, Seat belt.


I adjust the seat & the wheel each time to enable the old fat guy to get out easier http://www.naxja.org/forum/images/smilies/anon.gif, so I have to re-adjust once seated.
