Don't let the VDC issue scare you at all. The car handles great. Any decent sporty rear-wheel drive car can get you in trouble with the happy pedal in a hurry, especially in the wet. The Z is no exception. VDC is the factory traction control. It still won't save you from trying to defy the laws of physics, but it will correct minor mistakes in your driving.
