You also must understand this at a macroeconomic level..People are starting to increase their consumption, but they are consuming more carefully. First thing that can go in life are luxuries, a car with two doors, two seats, RWD layout, low ride height etc. this all of a sudden doesn't make as much sense as it did 10 years ago. Now compared to other sportscars, say the FRS, its cheaper rides higher and has a back seat. Same can be said with the mustang and camaro g37 etc. Sure still a market for fast cars but ones for year round also daily use, comes to mind the charger now with AWD for example.

yea honda MADE good sports cars. toyota MADE a good sports car. but guess what?? who's still making sports cars (nissan). who's lot do u fall asleep in immediately when u drive thru it (honda and yoter). honda and toyota have chosen a completely different path. they are in it to sell economy cars and make ridiculous profits. hell, i feel like toyota made the frs/brz solely to get critics of their backs. and u say IF honda made a new sports car or IF toyota made a sports car... sorry dude, but "if's" don't cut it. if frogs had wings, they wouldn't bump their asses when they hopped... get my drift..

and i like how u say the gtr is the only car worth buying. thats like saying, well living in the midwest is fine, but if u really cared u would live in the hamptons. I cant afford a $100k gtr!

same logic u used with the porsches. they are GREAT cars. but the only 911 u can get in for the same price as a z is like 2003 996 or u could get a higher mileage cayman s. i should tell all the true sports car guys out there in z06's or m3's that they are ONLY allowed in 911's per your advise.

so my question is, if the gtr is the only car worth buying... why are u sitting here in a z...?

THanks for posting JungleZ's dribble...Since I have him on my ignore list ,for obvious reasons, it was nice to see why I ignore him....

Its like the 350z guys hating on the 370z. People just don't like to see their car being upgraded and knowing they still have the older model. The '13 front bumper looks 10x better than the old one, you have to see it in person to appreciate it.

I'm going to stop here. But its irrelevant to me since I'm going Amuse anyway.

Pffftttt. Very small change. It's still a very good looking sexy vehicle:tup:

I too am partial to the fangs but that doesnt exclude the '13 from being great looking too...which do you prefer: blonde, brunette or redhead. Yeah. Same thing  ;)

I don't know what is wrong with a lot of people. The Nissan 370z outperforms 90% of cars in it's class. Stock for stock it looks way sportier and sexier than the STI, EVO, GTI, Mustang, Honda s2k, Rx-8, Rx-7, frs, brz. Yeah FRS, BRZ, and Mustang GT also look good, but don't have that special aggressiveness that the 370z offers. Also it is faster in a straight line than aolmost every car in it's class stock for stock. It handles better than most cars besides the FRS and BRZ. Also with the Z you get a great interior which you can't get with the STI or EVO. I can keep going. Z is quality for the price it sells at. The reason other cars are cheaper is because they don't come well equipped from the factory. Z already has nice exterior, interior, and great performance. Even with a few aftermarket mods to produce some more power and better handling it is a track beast. It can also drift and AWD cars can't.

FRS and BRZ are sexy and have nice interiors, but lack so much power.

I happen to like the 2009-2012 bumper.I think with the DIY daytime running lights mod it looks up to date. The 2013 reminds me of the 350z with the vertical DRL's

Faster than every car in its class in a straight line stock to stock?hmm lets see here in the affordable sports car category, (which the z is in btw) compare 2012 models across the board new including the z. mustang v6 camaro v6 are faster in a straight line if not the same.

Look young buc, you must be out of your mind if you think a V6 Mustang or Camaro is in the same league. Everything new that is faster cost as much as the Z or more. +/-$1,000. Straight line speed doesn't stop at the 1/4 either. But say it does. It barely breaks 14's, traps 100 flat and weighs 3500 lbs. The Camaro's V6, even considering the LFX engine is no faster than the Mustang. To make matters worse for the Mustang it stops going faster at 115mph.

Z's generally run mid to low 13's and trap 103-105mph, automatics a tick or two faster. The Z stops faster, corners harder, and weighs 300-400lbs less. They are not in the same league as you say. A couple members have broken the 13 barrier with a stock Z, but they are freaks of nature and are omitted from my argument.

No I think you miss his point...Your words were that the V6 Mustangs and V6 Camaros were faster...They are not....It will take a V8 Camaro or Mustang to run with the 370Z in the 1/4 mile and even then, they may lose to the 370Z..

I think you may be stretching the term "sports car" with those two.

Sports car - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sports car - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary
Sports car | Define Sports car at Dictionary.com
Sportscar - definition of Sportscar by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
Ford Mustang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (for kicks search sports car in there. It says sports-car-like... once)
Chevrolet Camaro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nissan 370Z - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nissan Z-car - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maybe you will understand the difference.
