The New 350Z

Just wondering if anyone else gets people coming up to them asking "Hey, is that the new 350Z?" lmfao most of the time I just entertain it...."Yeah, its a 2010" while trying my best not to laugh.

It's remarkable that our cars have been out since '09 but this question still comes up.

"That a 380Z?"
"Sure, why not."

Most of the time, they don't give me a chance to say anything.

Just "Nice 350Z!"
Or "I like your 350Z!"
Or most troubling: "Alright so let's get your 350Z on our lift for some work."

Exactly. Everyone calls it the 350Z.

I actually hear '360z' fairly often. I guess people think an addition of 0.1 liters is the logical next step

edub370 05-13-2013 02:01 PM

most people actually have no clue what the numbers on the back of any car mean

most folks think 350Z is the name of the car, and doesn associate the 35 to the 3.5L.

i will fall over if anyone at work asked me how i liked my VQ37VHR. :icon17:

I was thinking the same thing.
That would be considered heresy in Alabama.

Yep, they need around 1000 signatures on a form to release plates for out of state universities. Once they get those the plate is official. NC has plates for around 50 colleges or so.

Happens all the time. Not even worth correcting anymore.
