Who Do You Insure Through
Just Curious, going to see the car maybe this week or next week, last thing on my agenda for the car is insurance. im probably looking at 400+ monthly with the addition of the Z. 22 years of age will be insured under my parents. Any insurers you would recommend? Any known to give a cheap monthly payment for two door coupes? last things i need to work out before i sign papers.
Thanks for the help |
I have State Farm, 23, no accidents (kinda), totaled a car last year, speeding ticket on my record and I pay $140/month ;-)
Yes, a LOT of people hate me for that |

But I have full coverage, no sneaky crap, and now I have my deductible at $250, and rental coverage at $35/day and something else that I upgraded... |
so the idea here is to call individual offices and see what i can get?

I have Geico. Used to have Progressive.
Shop around the major insurance companies' websites. Check this link out: http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...on-thread.html |

forgot to post price.... my insurance is under leisure car coverage and paying no more than 285-290 for 6months.
|
You know what... I lied... Just recently...they upped my insurance to $170 a month due to a second ticket. So what I did was lie and I told them that my car is a weekend driver, and god bless them, they don't ask about mileage
|
insurance premiums vary depending on a number of factors including location (state), deductible, coverage, yearly mileage, age, driving history, etc.
just stating your insurance co. and monthly premium doesn't give enough to compare by. |

No tickets. Clean Record. School GPA discount & maybe a full time work discount? Idk.. I only pay $128 for insurance thru State Farm each month. I have full coverage.. $500 Deductible on everything I believe.. I have 3 others on the same profile for multi-car discount. Step brother & 2 sisters. |
ABECU - $138/month for full on the 2008 C300 Sport and the 2011 Z Base+Sports.

Way too many variables. And for an older, married, homeowner with multiple polices with State Farm, it is almost as cheap to insure my Z as my Altima--the premium for 6 months on the Z is less than $1 more than the Atlima and works out to less than $50 per month. |
single 22 if i go under my parents we have 5 cars. if i go alone only the z would be my car. No accidents that were my fault, no moving violations.
|
did some quotes online. nothing under 500 yet. yay me

El Paso- Where pedro loves to steals rides and take em across the border.
|
Location makes a big difference. Maybe not $510 difference, but it's really hard to compare insurance rates across the country.
|
lawl this is making me sad. the numbers im getting quoted for seem not real after seeing these numbers. Is there ANYONE paying over 500 a month...
|
If your getting quoted for over 500 a month. You better get on the parents policy or get a bicycle.
|
How's your credit? Many companies take that into account as well.
