I wouldn't get to wrapped up on this, best bet is just to call around. Like mentioned before, way too many variables. Some of these young 20 years old that claim they are only paying 100/month full coverage might only have the bare minimum coverage required for that state, like maybe only 10k for bodily injury.. Just throwing that out for an example but that would basically pay for a band aid.. See my point ?

Don't waste your time with USAA if you have no connection with military. They will not entertain you.
And I have had USAA since I was stationed in Germany when I had a BMW and they have always treated me right. But I have heard people I work with mention Geico and progressive is cheaper.

Totaled 3 cars(over 7 years ago, 1st was weather, 2nd not my fault, 3rd was my fault) and have had 1 speeding ticket. Had some other tickets associated with said car accidents. I have Progressive, pay like 85 bucks a month full coverage 500 deductible. I was lucky, I had a snapshot in my old car, I got my Z about 2 weeks before the snapshot period ended AND it was cold out in these parts when I got my Z(February) so I wasn't driving around too much. |

New York and New Jersey, kid. You have to pay to play here. I'm 29 with one measly ticket from 3 years ago in my last car. Never been in so much as a fender-bender. I had Geico in the Si, and they raised my premium for the Z by 40% Not even my guy that insures the vehicles in my company could help me out. I eventually went with Allstate, as an old family friend runs a location. After the alumni discount, I'm paying $230 a month for full coverage with a $500 deductible.
I need to buy a house in the midwest and insure there. New York is outrageous for everything. Tired of it. |

40, Single Male, $65/month, Canada
You really need to think of the costs.....you may end up buying a car you cannot afford to drive. Still have fuel costs, regular maintenance etc. Anyway good luck on a hard choice! |

~$200/mth with Geico for the Z and my wife's '13 Mazda CX-5, we're 24 and 22 respectively. Not sure what "full coverage" means, but I went over it with my parents to see what we needed/should have. We'll be moving to USAA once I turn 25 hopefully, as that's what I was on with my parents. They're not the cheapest, but they don't skimp, aren't cheap, and treat you right. $500/MTH for car insurance is INSANE, I'd wait on the Z or get something else. Check every possibility first obviously, but at some point you may have to change what car you're wanting.

228 a month for full coverage and 500 dollar deductible in NY. I'm 29! My insurance has never gone down! Have 2 comprehensive claims which shouldn't effect amount but who knows. I thought for sure by this time in my life I'd he paying half that! I'm with Progressive.
Erie insurance? Never heard of but at that price I'm going to look into them.
