On the 71 onramp it was probably 30-35-ish and same thing heavy acceleration after that up to about 65 and then fuel starvation (although that one was banking right). I definitely will be a lot more careful when am under 1/2 tank now. I think the significant factor in whether or not its recoverable once it starts is if are going uphill at all or not. Even a slight amount uphill seems to make it irrecoverable without adding more gas in it. In the 3 years I have had the car ive only had fuel starvation happen 3 times on the public road (twice on the track) and only two of these (on the road) actually resulted in getting stranded. Filling up every-time the gas tank is <1/2 tank just to avoid this is kind of ridiculous though. I will likely just be more careful when its under 1/2 tank to avoid it from happening. Still not cool though Nissan... |
