Let's see:
1) 1983 Datsun/Nissan 810 Maxima - it had the same (although likely detuned) inline 6 2.4L that was originally in the 240Z. Sadly, I totalled it on when I drove over a patch of black ice and ended up in a ditch 2) 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Big, heavy, and fast. One of my HS Girlfriends nicknamed it "The Beast." I always wanted to restore it, but was a poor college student at the time. 3) 1979 Oldmobile Omega - Nothing remarkable about this one. 4) 1986 Toyota Camry - I used to joke that this car used to have 88 hp, but about 40 of the horses died somewhere along the way. This was my first manual transmission, I ended up replacing two clutches. 5) 1988 Ford Thunderturd - One of my friends called this thing the "Millennium Falcon," I preferred "The Big White Dehydrated Piece of Dog Sh!t" since this vehicle cost me tremendous amounts of money to keep it running. My favorite failure was when the digital dashboard would die whenever I turned on the headlights, so that at night I had no idea what speed I was going. 6) 1992 Subaru Legacy L - This car was the most reliable that I ever had. A bit austere and underpowered, but still a good car that got phenomenal gas mileage. 7) 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX - A great car. Although quirky looking, it was a great reliable, fun to drive, good performing car. There were a few things I felt like I needed to modify to get it to look and perform the way I wanted it. 8) 2009 Nissan 370Z - Bought in late July '09. I love it. |

03 350 bought new in June of 03 and traded in on my 370 in Jan 09. I'm sure the 370 won't be my last Z or Nissan.

I started driving in 1998 and it's been a rough ride....
1989 Toyota Corolla 4 Door DX - Hand-me-down from parents. Vandalized at school. 1996 Pontiac Grand Am - Shared with mom (she didn't work). Step Dad got it repo'd. 1990 Chevy S10 Blazer 2 Door - Sold I think? 1987 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham - Sold to friend. 1987 Honda Accord LXi Hatchback - Motor locked up. 1989 Honda Accord LXi Sedan - Wrecked, motor and tranny blown, sold for parts. The guy had it running and looking new in 2 months out of his garage lol. 1992 Nissan 240SX SE Coupe - Traded in. 1997 Nissan 240SX SE Couple - Wrecked, sold to friend and we repaired it. 1971 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe LWB - For some reason it had an 83 Olds 305 in it (matched the Q-Jet S/N) and blew. Traded some rockers to brother for his used 350, later the trans pump went out. Ordered and installed a "performance" T350. Head cracked a while later and I put in a new 350 4-bolt, now the trans is screwin up again. It's sitting in a friend's garage right now (nice friend heh), I'll prob just pull the motor and sell it, scrap the truck itself. 1995 Dodge Spirit - New trans, radiator, heater core, cylinder head, plus a lot of little things. It's trying to die again so I'll just make a couple bucks from a junk yard for it. 2009 Nissan 370Z Nismo - just picked it up 08/20 and I'm finally happy. I'll never buy another used car to use as a daily driver ever again.
