I have no problem with the CVT, I owned a 3.5 Altima with one for 5 years and it was great for a DD/road trip car, I just don't think they belong on anything sport oriented.....at this point anyways. We'll see what the future holds.
Well they're experimenting with new bands for the cvt that are supposed to make them a lot more responsive. We should start seeing true-sport CVT's (If that exists?), somewhere between 2017-2020. Cross your fingers.

But it's a great vehicle.

Do you have a link of the nissan, honda competitor sketch?
yah, the fit is a pocket money car with big bang... and to me, my fit sport 5mt looks alright. im into boxy cars and 2 door coupes. i dont care for minivans, crossovers, suvs, and sedans.

Hey, Hey!!!! I bought one for my daughter, it might drive like a golf cart but save a lot on gas, good college car and for a teen thats good enough.

For the price it has a lot of goodies and drives pretty good.

At least I kept my daughter in the Nissan family.

Looks like a curvy fit. But it's pretty nice. Kind of exciting to see this car coming out. Maybe it will replace the versa and advertise the 2013 redesign was a tragic mistake.
kenchan and Magic Bus like this.

The versa and aztec have to be a inside corporate joke on society. They probably say, lets build an ugly azz car and make bets on monthly sales for the company gambling pool. Then die laughing when they actually sell 2,000 units in a month and a co-worker with high hopes wins the pool.

Makes sense, Nissan typically seemed a tad bit overpriced vs its competition.
