Wind noise or soft rattle from driver side dash/windshield

Had this since new. Not exactly sure what's causing it. Kind of a soft crackling sound. Anyone ever experience it besides me?

Doesn't sound common... Is it crackling, or a wind noise?

Have you changed your window wipers? Or are you on OEM ones?
I have noticed OEM ones are much shorter than any aftermarket ones

More like a light crackling. Wind noise would probably be more of a whistle. OEM wipers.

Anything that causes it? Like hard turns or anything?

Nope, just cruising. Used to be intermittent but pretty frequent now. Hate to head to dealer if just something simple.

Hmm. Never heard of that one! I'm still listening to the rattle coming from the driver side headliner.

Check your windshield cowl. Not common but it happens sometimes. The fix is to put a bead of silicone between your windshield and the cowl. Some use 3m tape.

I think mine does exactly what you are referring to. It drives me nuts. It's more like a tearing, crackling sound that comes from directly in front of driver. I thought it was some leaves stuck on the windshield cowl but after removing those it still does it from time to time. It happens only when moving and comes and goes.

I don't think I have heard it this year yet, but I think it's the same exact thing you are experiencing, and in that case it might be possible to fix.
