Warranty Extension For ESCL
 

Hi,
I got a letter today from NIssan Canada extending my warranty on the Electronic Steering Column Lock from 3 years to 6 years. (unlimited mileage) This is for my 2012 370Z. Is it the same in the US? I have Attached the letter so you can read what it says. I don't think its a big deal, but it may be a interest to some. I thought I would share it. ThanksAttachment 67536

Lol, you have a 2012, it doesn't even have the steering lock

I'm a little confused. What locks my steering wheel then?

Me Bad! LOL I should of checked the VIN number. That notice is for my 2009 Altima Coupe that I traded in last June for the new Z. It should have gone to the guy that bought the car the same day. He did buy extended warranty on it.

With that being said; I didn't know that the steering wheel didn't lock. I just tried it and like you said it turns. I will call Nissan and tell them.

They screwed your altima. The letter I got for my Z says to bring in the car for a replacement.

I never did get a letter from Nissan. Just a call from the dealer to setup an appointment to replace the SLU.
