I know at age 18-22 I wouldn't have been able to afford a 370Z, not to mention in this current economy with fewer banks lending.

:driving:

I have a strong suspition that 90%+ of the under-25 set on this site will not be able to afford a 370Z or its insurance. They are/will be simply admirers.

I am 27. I will probably not pick up a 370Z until its mid cycle refresh. Im hoping they do something about that black plastic on the front. It makes the front end look bucktoothed. Also, maybe they will add direct injection (one can dream right?)

Same boat as you. Saving right now... and I won't have mine til I'm 28 (4yrs). Unless I can afford by that time to buy a new Z4, or I feel like the jolly green giant driving around in a Z34 the Z is it.

26, 27 march 1st. I will be paying off my civic si getting my wife her Fit then I can get my 370z. I will wait for at least a year after they come out to get the bugs out and an oil cooler hopefully from factory.

If you don't track 370Z you shouldn't be worry about oil temperature. Beside, you can get Nismos oil cooler installed.

How much are you paying for the z itself not the insurance? (lease or buy?)

I bought 350Z touring back in 2003 for $36K. I paid it off last year and now I can buy another Z.

Hey that is a damn good point. I am going to track it but I just want the reassurance of good cool oil as well.

Makes sense. It is a vehicle in a middle age income, add the continuing Japanese recession and the current hits to the Nikkei exchange and you are left with a segment that favors adults settled into well paying careers. Not super great income earners, but people still doing well in a long time recession.

I am surprised by the 29 and under being 10%. Parents buying them maybe, or perhaps tech stock leftovers?

I'd be curious of a percentage rating Gender in JPN and the US/Canada.

Nice info MC

Yeah I'm 25, and I got an *** load of bills. I doubt I can fit in a $600/mth car payment...

When I was 22 I was paying $1,100 per 6months for a jetta. now I'm 25 paying $800 for a jetta and a maxima.

Why two cars? Don't get me wrong, I have two, well three but, but damn that is one hell of a monthly payment for vehicles.

It's $800 every 6 months for both cars, so that equates to about $135 per month. I thought this was pretty good.

nogoodname 12-16-2008 01:15 PM
