I think i understand what OP is saying. You have to go FI to reach 60+ gains with the 370z and with the DE, Rev up, and previous HR motors you didnt "have" to go FI to reach 60+ gains. I had a 2003 350z and on the 350z forum everyone wanted to see if the 350z with DE motor could reach 300 the wheels NA. it did. I believe Z1 reached 320 to the wheels and we would agree that 320 for the 370z is very good. 2007/08 HR 350z's have no problem reaching 320 with just bolt on's. Hand full of DE 350z motors have reach 350+ to he wheels with no nos!
*The 350z's are seeing good amout of TQ when goin FI. Sometimes more TQ then the 370z. Example sometimes a 350z would have higher TQ numbers then it'd HP numbers and i have yet to see a 370z do that. Just saying. What it comes down to is how big is your wallet! It's not cheap to mod the Z. No one here has really gone above and beyond on a NA build. one guy has with JUN cams but he cant dyno the car for us to see gains. The 370z is tuned very good from the factory. For example the 350z had exhaust manitfolds. The 370z has headers. But The DE 350z did see alot more aftermart parts but maybe because they sold more. The 370z Should reach 350+ NA to the wheels and it hasnt yet. I think thats what OP is trying to say. and he is blaming VVEL

Best numbers I have seen is on Mike's build 342whp and 275tq on Z1's dyno. Pretty close to the 350+ you seek and on certain dynos you would get that reading. To get nearly around 75hp increase on just bolt ons is pretty impressive for a NA motor.

it's called 4K RPM clutch dump - that'll at least let em know you're serious, otherwise, why bother...

I tend to do it on sidewalks more often because the tire marks show up better on lighter concrete than the darker asphalt and yes, pedestrians are sometimes a casualty of douchbaggery

no that honor goes to the more recent honda civics, damn things grind into whatever gear you try and throw it in to and the reliability ratings on them show that fact. heck my 96 civic even though it is a pretty good cars leaves alot to be desired in the shifting department and is far from smooth shifting as "some people" go on and on about not to mention if you try and get an agressive start off the line on it, it squeals like a freaking pig even with a new clutch and clutch fluid but then again its more of a gas saving car so wasnt designed for aggressive driving, i cant complain about 42mpg highway thats for sure though lol

Mine only gave me trouble in the beginning, because the catch point was opposite of my previous car and it had that helper spring (which I removed).
