So i am looking to FI my car and went on Ebay and came across this little guy. Less than a G. This has to be too good to be true. for the price I might try it. it says it fits my 2010 370z but Im going to contact and see. Could always resell it. Or am I an idiot (totally possible) and this is not real or something. :ugh2:

What I can tell you is that this is one of those "universal" turbo kits. You will have to do some custom work and fabrication to get it to fit. Either you do this on your own or pay someone to do it. FYI, the sensors in our cars are finicky. Take into account the diameter and length of the intake pipes, or you will go into limp mode. There are lots of variables to getting a universal "kit" to work with this car.

This "kit" doesn't include larger injectors and fuel pump, so you will need to supply your own. You also need colder spark plugs or you'll risk detonation.

You will also need to supply your own ECU programming cable and software, or get one from UpRev.

No one has the base maps for this "kit." If you're lucky, your motor will fire up. Will it idle? Maybe. What happens when you give it more gas? Who knows. Either way, you'll need a trip to the dyno shop to get it dyno-tuned since there's no useful maps to begin with.

The time it takes to get this kit to work? Probably weeks or months depending on your schedule. Compared to a vehicle specific kit? Less than a week.

The closest projects to this quest are the one-off custom projects. It is not without headaches.

The money spent will exceed the cost GTM's new MHI turbo kits.

However, it's your car and you do whatever you choose. Just don't start a new thread after you install the kit asking why your engine is blown.

pretty much what you said. messaged the seller and he was trying to BS me into purchasing telling me i didnt have to get anything else it would be ready to go and just need a tune. I call BS so not gonna do it. Im gonna go with GTM supercharger i believe.

wow thats jenky as hell. just look at the parts in the pic. no exhaust manis, no injectors, no name chinabay turbo, generic ic, no tuning software, no fuel pump, no downpipes... this kit fits a 370z as much as i fits a 747. STAY AWAAAAAY

I actually did buy a supercharger from ebay for my last car. had an 01 mustang gt and found a great deal. it worked out fine, never an issue. Im not cheap by any means but do like a good deal when I can get one. this is why I asked cuz Im not very knowledgeable on turbos or imports.

highest I ever saw was like 42 I think, it was a video of a evo setting a world record for HP. Built by some dude that was maybe 19 or 20. UGH...
