Did this 370Z used to belong to a forum member?

I still had my email alerts for car shopping on and saw this lightly modded Z in Ohio come up for sale.

I'm glad I saw this. Gave me an idea on how some exterior mods look on GM.

I'll take the taillights!!

kenchan 04-18-2013 10:22 AM

yah was like woo~

... until i saw the taillamp. :ugh2: and the burnt blue tips. :ugh:

Bullit79 04-18-2013 10:34 AM

I like the JDM tailights, but I'm not sure if they're worth the $700+

The black fangs I'm on the fence about, but the black emblems and burnt tips are a definite "no" IMHO.

Damn, Z's in Ohio are cheap. $30,500 would buy you a 2011 base manual or auto depending. You're looking at 34,000+ for a 2011 touring with miles that low here in DFW

yeah I'm with bullit.. I thought the car looked so cool and stealthy.. until that back end, which is kinda bad. clear tail lights are so 1998, and the bright blue tips stand out too much and clash with the chill gun metal.

of course this is all just opinion. if you want to buy yourself one the sexiest cars ever, then unsex it to give yourself more of a challenge with the ladies.. that can be a fun time too.

Ok now I hope that this didn't belong to a forum member from the bashing that has begun lol. Still, I'm reminded of some advice I was given on modding: It's your car, do whatever you want/like and don't give a f*ck what anyone else thinks.

Why is it in the showroom most dealers leave their Zs out in the lot dont they? :icon17:

ElVee 04-18-2013 11:27 AM

Blue tips look awesome on a white, blue, or even a silver car. They just don't match a gun metal. Kinda like how the black badge in front doesn't match the default in back. What happened there? (The black badge isn't necessary, but looks just fine to me if that's what you want.)

The blacked fangs are done well, but it always saddens me to see one of the most striking and cool features of the 09-12 Zs (the fangs) get neutered out.

That said, none of this stuff should be a deal-breaker if you have a good deal and the desire.
