Thanks everyone! I did check out the Gtr before i made a decision and it is a great car with insane speed and all just not a 100% into dct or pdk for that matter and it felt huge to me. On a side note me insurance went up $22 a month lol and with the deals they have now at porsche its not insanely hard to get into one of there cars

At least chewy moved up in class. I had to move down in class. Three weeks ago I traded it my Nismo for a Toyota Venza. So far wife is happy, my daughter is happy, the little one...well he is only 3 years young, he does not know the difference yet. But me, I'm not happy.
![]() ![]() Like I said in my post, is a sacrifice I had to do for the family and is just a temporary thing. I'll be back in a Nismo.

Congrats! That is quite an upgrade it will surely help the pain of saying goodbye to the Z lol! That is a nicely spec'd 911 and I love the 20" classic wheels. I share your sentiments, in August my 981 Boxster will arrive and I will have to part with my Z. It's going to be bitter sweet. Enjoy your new Porsche!

I love that car and would give up my Z in a second to own that. I'm also looking to upgrade mine in the next year or so but need to narrow my choices down a bit first.

I keep wanting to buy a 2013 or 2014 911 Carrera S. I keep coming back to what I can do with that extra $100K in my pocket. It's probably why I won't pop for a C7 as well. I love my Z and my C5. I just can't see where a porsche is worth that much more than a Z. For the price of that 911 I can still have my toys and a nice 1/2 acre with a garage to maintain all of my toys. So, I guess until I hit the lottery I won't be owning a Porsche.
I write this while I look at my bank account and say .... why not? Don't I deserve this? Then there is the GTR.... I mean we only live once and we can't take it with us. Hence the dilemma..... Yeah, the 911 is sweet and if I was rich I'd buy one in a minute. However, I'd still rather have my Z and other things than a Porsche. In my case, I'd rather track the Z and total it 3 times than buy a Porsche that I'd never track. To OP: Congratulations. I'm sure you'll have a blast in the Porsche. I wish you many great track days. I am envious and wish you a lot of fast lap times.
