How long should this project take??!!
Things to get done:
- Front Lip (Paint/Install) - Front Hood Scoop (Paint/Install) - Rear Body Scoops (Paint/Install) - High Wing (Paint/Install) - Wheels (Paint) - Angel Eye Headlights (Install) - Taillights (Tint) My body guy has been holding onto my car for nearly a month now and i'm starting to believe that he's just working slow. If I had known he would take this long I would have taken it somewhere else  Anyhow, pics will be up soon! :) Transformation from stock to my masterpiece all at once! |

The body scoops scare me a bit. Hard to imagine what those would look like.
A months is a long time to paint and install practically stick-on items like scoops and a lip. Installation should be simple. I don't know the time necessary to paint parts, but it should be a simple job for a body shop. Painting wheels is a straightforward process as well. Tint usually just takes a couple hours. Installing angel eyes may take 4-10 hours depending on how he opens the lights and how well he knows how everything disassembles. Perhaps he isn't just working on your car though. Maybe just a couple hours per day? That could explain why it'd take a month. |
As a body shop one guy should only work on one car at a time unless your waitng on parts. So if you have five guys, that's five cars. This is the only method where production gets done. So that being said no more than week.

Just say no to stick on hood anything

All I see is the hood scoop detaching at speed because it's acting like an air catcher.

It would be pretty sweet if they would mold that scoop on the hood and made a hole for the air to go in the engine.
