Super Low Profile Floor Jack on sale for cheap

Several folks besides me on this forum have this jack, I think anyone that has it can attest, it's awesome for the money at full price.

Well it's on sale, with the coupon code that's on the product page it's only $109.99.

On a stock Z, this jack can reach the front center jacking point from the front bumper with no drama. For the side, it'll fit under the lowest of Z's.

Low Profile Floor Jack - 2 Ton, Rapid Pump® Jack

Check it out!

Just to make sure the Nismo owners know, this jack CANNOT reach the front center jacking point due to the Nismo bodywork. Still worth the money IMHO though.

Damm, 93.3 lb Jack. Ouch

Snap, that's a good point. Definitely won't reach. Even on a non-Nismo, you have to lay the handle down, slide it in to the "nipple" (as I call it) and then use the pedal to get it up to the nipple and then slowly work the handle up and down until you have clearance to do real pumps.

That paragraph sounds entirely too sexual, but yeah. It's about a jack. Err, a FLOOR JACK. To get your car up.. damnit, to lift your car into the air.

I'm going to stop now.

You know, I don't think it actually weighs that much. I pick it up and move it from time to time, and I don't think I'm that burly.

But I don't really plan on taking this to events or anything, so I don't really care what it weighs.

Yeah this thing is heavy as hell. I'll probably be picking up an Aluminum low-profile for AutoX tire changes since lugging a ~100lb jack around isn't fun.

if you have a costco membership, id recommend you go to costco and get the 99 dollar arcan low profile jack there. it is HEAVY DUTY, and i would trust my life under this jack versus the harbor freight jack

heres a thread about this (googled it)

That's almost an inch higher. At that height, you have tons of options. What makes the Harbor Freight one exceptional to me is that it actually goes down to basically 2.5" off the deck. It's crazy low.

I've never had any reason to doubt its strength or reliability, but there's not a hydraulic floor jack in the WORLD that I would get underneath without jack stands, so yeah, there's that.

same jack I use... of course I'm a costco employee so yeah lol. Put the 2 jacks together and BAM! you are limitless. The one being talked about at the start of this thread has lower clearance while the larger jack from Costco has better reach. Lift the side a bit to get far enough to jack from the front.

I hate to be an ***... but the one I linked, it's longer (better reach) and lifts higher.

Just saying. :o

Is the round plate on that jack removable, and is there a round hole underneath? I ask because I love this thing: Floor Jack Saddle Adapter for Rocker Panel Pinch Weld : Amazon.com : Automotive , but it doesn't really fit all jacks. I had to cut up another jack I had to make it work with it :)

I'll investigate this soon as I can!

hey im not trying to start an argument. just wanted to let others know of alternatives alright? when did this forum get so hostile

anyway, i love harbor freight as much as the next guy, in fact i have a shitton of their tools, but for a jack, i would much prefer something a bit more "quality". quality is subjective in this case, however, the reason i'd recommend the arcan is, not only is it cheaper (99+tax), every part is replaceable. the jack would literally last you a lifetime. goodluck repairing the harbor freight jack.

also...i understand the minimum height is 3.5 inches versus the harbor freight at 2.5 inch. solution? drive up on a 2x4 and your car is now 2 inches higher. as for the reach...the harbor freight one has a max depth of 39" it seems. the arcan at costco goes 47.75". quite a bit longer..but also much heavier!
