Recall Reimbursement ? and ideas for what to spend it on!
So those of you that had the steering lock failure prior to the recall that have been reimbursed how long did it take for you to get your check after they said it was approved?
Mine was approved yesterday and now I have a huge dilemma. What do I spend the near $1300 on? |

Mine took about two weeks, I'm just ordered some wheels so I'm saving it for coilovers and camber kits

After they replaced my slu with the newest one (which took two weeks) it was two weeks before I got my check.

Good to see Nissan taking care of folks. My slu was replaced twice, warranty.
But yeh I think there's some kwv3 coils almost as low as 1300 right now in the classifieds. Tapatalk2 ... |

u only get that if you've already paid for the repairs. if not just take your Z to the dealer and they can do the swap to the newer revision free of charge. shouldn't take more than an hour to do.

i called up nissan and they said id need to take my car in to get the work i did VERIFIED before they would reimburse. so i said hell with it. the reason why i did the work was i didnt want the dealer touching my car. |

Too bad i didnt have SLF. Then i'd have more money on top of my tax return.
Finally, Nissan is "handlin' da bidness." lol
