Army, Aviation mechanic. I'll be retiring in a few months after 20 years of service. And, since I had to trade my Nismo a few weeks ago, once I retire and get a job I'll be back in a Nismo. (sorry, I felt I had to say it out loud)

Congratulations on retiring. I was originally planning to make it a career but the post 9/11 GI Bill is a sweet deal and I wanted to get my degree before I get too old.

Was mere inches away from becoming a USAF Combat Rescue Officer... Unfortunately becoming one (or just being admitted into training) is harder than getting into Stanford. No I'm not being sarcastic!
But I digress, Thank you all for your service. One of the hardest jobs in the world, and for many many reasons. I hope you all come home safe and sound in all regards after each deployment. If I see any of you in uniform, you better believe I'm buying you a meal!

Bro, you are not kidding one bit about how hard it is to get into USAF Combat Control or Pararescue. Not to mention Airfield Controller or Forward Air Controllers.....

My wife the sailor, who actually owns the Z, spent six months in RC South in Kandahar, 2009. Now she's back to sea.
