That's 275 degrees F on a pretty much stock car. Discuss.

This won't be a problem for me since I have never tracked my car nor do I ever plan too. But yes the g37 has the same problem.

This indeed is a problem. I was talking about it in the other thread. MCR is working on a solution for this. I hope they come out with a reliable solution. Namir posted in his other post that STILLEN is also working on it.

I have to agree. Sounds like something Nissan should take care of. Kinda early but maybe Ill just wait till the car is out a bit before jumping into it.

This concern sounds very similar to the issues that the BMW 135i and 335i guys are having with heavy abuse; overheated oil temps. A well placed oil cooler should do the trick. It would've been better if Nissan spent a bit more $$$ in the Sport Package and had an oil cooler part of that package, IMO.

Damn this sucks deffinitely nissan should be taking care of this problem. With an oil cooler after market would that then void the factory warranty? I plan on DRIVING mine and babying it as well, but the last thing I need is for the cut to happen in the middle of the strip.

^^^ if you warrenty is an issue get the stillen one as it will not void warrenty. They still got to prove the oil coller caused the failure.

I wonder where the temperature is where they are tracking. Tracking in a mild environment may be the same as commuting in Phoenix. Last thing I want is to be on the I-10 in heavy traffic when it's 120 outside and the car can't handle it. Nor do I think I should have to buy aftermarket parts for the car to do what it's supposed to do.
