The 370z is slow?

Is this thread for real? The Z is quick. The Evo has an advantage being turbo and AWD. There's always someone faster so I don't lose sleep over it. The Evo is and will always be boy racer.

The Evo feels faster than the Z only because the turbo kicks in at low RPM and put you back to the seat hard. But the Z gets more power when it revs up at higher rpm. Although the z feels more linear, it's no slower than the Evo if it's not faster.

Stock for stock the Z averages .4 seconds faster in the quarter mile against the evo.

OP's Fvcktard friend will lose steam at 110mph and the Z will chugg along with loads of power till it hits around 140-146mph, then you feel a sudden, drop in aggression in the Z. Even still, the Z can reach its top speed of 155mph with enough torque to still be satisfying.

Try that in a stock EVO, anything over 120mph will feel annoying.

The only advantage
evo really has is $3,000 will get them 80 extra hp. $3,000 will get us 20hp.

Right when I saw this I thought you were talking about annoying member Driftkr6l and his annoying thread in another section here.
But the Z is faster than the Evo around the track. Although the Evo inspires more confidence as it has AWD. With two inexperienced drivers, the Evo would win. With two experienced drivers, the Z would win.

He closed the thread after I called him out on his own statement. Then he tried to say he wasn't saying but the videos were.....said I was trolling him but if you are going to start bitchin' about the Z being slow then sell the mother*cker and save us the headache of going through your thread. After owning a highly modded c-5 vette and 03 mustang cobra, the 370z is honestly the slowest car of all of them. With the exception of the mustang with the weight to hp ratio. The mustang is around 4k and the 370 and corvette weigh about the same around 3200k.

So you gain extra hp verse a mustang because of the lower weight. But I must say out of all of them, the 370 handles that best and I'm very happy with the hp rating for now. I can always upgrade more later on. My guess is if you bought the 370, it wasn't for max hp. I'm very happy with my 370 and the price that I paid brand new. To each his own.

The Z isn't "slow". I would personally define it as pretty quick, but not "fast".

Low 13 seconds in the quarter is no slouch. Get into 10s and 11s... I'd call that pretty damn fast.

The Z is a well-balanced sports car for a decent price. It's quick, agile, and attractive with a nice interior.
