Before you got into modding, what did you think made cars look good?

luxury cars like Mercedes use them, it lights up the ground around your doors when you press "unlock button"

I've never seen that, but I assume it's a white light and it's so you can see where you're stepping. That doesn't count. They're not neon, not blue, green, red, or pink (DE's preferred color I assume.

Btw, even my 2013 Maxima came with under car lighting (the 4 LEDs blend a lot better than in this pic):

Could be that I haven't paid much attention, but shiny objects and lights tend to grab my attention.

For a daily driver: inside and out...good modding has to look like it rolled off the factory line like that. If a non-enthusiast cannot tell it has been modded, then mission accomplished.
