Please read Member and fast Intentions problems
When I first got on the site I was a total noob. I came across a member DEpointfiveO who to be honest I thought was a total ****, from some of the posts and things he said. I started talking with him on the forum and started to realize he is really not that much of a **** after all. We then started talking every day and then it became to be he must be a long lost cousin my mom never told me about. A couple weeks later I have saved up some money and wanted to start moding my car, after reading and hours upon hours of research I found what I wanted The Fast Intentions CBE and a set of wheels. Only problem was im on a budget. Then DEpointfiveO made me an offer for a FI CBE and FI test pipes. for a good price. I found a set of wheels with some minor rash on one of the wheels, the only problem was the guy would not ship and was kinda local to DEpointfiveO. Without hesitation he offered to go pick them up pack and ship them for me, It struck me way off guard! I was wondering whats up with this guy who I barely know wanting to go way out of his way to do this for me. So after thinking about it I took a gamble. I sent him over two grand for CBE, test pipes and wheels. DEpointfiveO drove over an hour to meet the guy with the wheels and pick them up on his own dime and time!! He even went way out of his way and got the wheel with the rash repaired for me. So after a couple of days waiting and not receiving any tracking info I started thinking to my self OMG I was dumb and got scamed:shakes head: Need not fear DepointfiveO came through and sent me all tracking and pics, Turns out he had some stuff comeup and deeply apologized. After being on the top of the world looking at the tracking info, the day has finally come My CBE was here :happydance: As I received my box my excitement turned to sheer terror  The box or what was supposed to be a box was demolished:crying: The box Nazi's at UPS totaled the box and my beloved FI CBE:shakes head: Left muffler tip is bent and the gaping hole in the box they lost my gaskets:mad: And I must give a round of applause to DEpointfiveO for the packing job he did, without it the hole system would have been lost. I sent DEpointfiveO pics and a status report, need less to say he felt the same way I did maybe even worse, Another +1 for DEpointfiveO he took out insurance on it:tup: He is currently waiting on FI to get back with him for an estimate to replace/repair the problem. So I took a gamble on a stranger and it went in my favor. DepointfiveO I consider one of the best people I have ever meet!:tiphat: he has gone above and way beyond to help and give me a good deal. I am still waiting on my wheels the Nazi's at UPS sent it to the wrong address:shakes head: DEpointfiveO had to place an intercept on them. Pics are on the way. and DEpointfiveO THANK YOU for all you have done!:tiphat:

Props! So sad to see UPS destroy it. I had my sport wheels packaged and shipped via UPS, and it was destroyed. The wheels were practically new to begin with, and the paint and spokes eroded itself during shipping.
I've my headlights shipped back and forth via USPS, and they must have dropped it on the floor. The impact was bad enough dislodge the HID assembly and crack the ceramic reflector. |
Sorry for your troubles... please let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

That sucks. I'd see if it's possible to have the tip repaired by local shop. Disputing with UPS takes time since you basically have to prove it was their fault...even when there is a giant hole in the box.
FYI, I hope you understand that this pretty much means you have to put out if you ever meet DEpointfiveO in person. |
I'm surprised the man himself hasn't shown up to receive his accolades! He's blunt and a bit eccentric but he's a good guy at the end of the day. Plus he's a Guy Ritchie fan which means he can't be all bad.

First of all, thanks for the kind words brother
As MANY of you know I have had A LOT of problems with my NissanS, but I have said it, well way more than once, but I'll say it again, 370Z owners and people on this forum have gotta be some of THE BEST people I have ever met. (Again, shout out to all the 370Z forum members in Dallas) They made me feel like Dallas was as good as home, I've met 50~ forum members and another 50~ have my cell number and hit me up for the most random of things around the clock (Z-girl12, Wonka, FairladyZ, Nina, NitrousZ34...:shakes head:), and I REALLY feel as though all 370Z owners are like a GIGANTIC extended family (full homo). I know people in EVERY PART of the US (and even outside the US) So making a 3 hour round trip to go check out/pick up some wheels for family, NO problem! As for the damage to the box/the exhaust... I DEFINITELY felt worse than Will (Wonka), I tried to package the CRAP out of that exhaust, and as you can see, there really was a hell of a lot, lol But THANK GOD for insurance!!! I also did speak to: Quote:
