I have some experience with magnetics, and to affect fluid based metalics I have always observed the need for electro magnets. I don't suppose you're running an electromagnetic oil drain

I live in central Tejas and it gets and stays so damn hot in the summer. I haven't had my car long enough for the first oil change, what weight and brand oil do most of ya'll use?
