I don't make it a habit to punch babies, cows on the other hand are fair game.

Thanks. Now I have a hokey cow-punching song stuck in my head.

Lock fixed!! Got a revision D... Hopefully no issues with it!

shaun66 04-19-2013 08:31 AM

I'm dropping mine off today woot woot.

Dzel 04-19-2013 08:37 AM

Think of all the f'kd up babies! Lol

Vaughanabe13 04-19-2013 09:00 AM

So have there been any reported problems with the revision D's yet? I know some people disable their steering locks after they are replaced but I would rather not do that unless there are actual reports of the D locks failing.

yes, i believe so. saw someone on instagram that had just had it replaced and was being towed again lol.

already pulled the fuse. declining the recall. no point in letting another man touch my baby when it's already fixed.

Wretched poll questions. I pulled my fuse a year ago and I do not care. I am happier about the free oil change coupon they sent, and still did not punch a baby.

ElVee 04-19-2013 10:46 AM

Recall? Why'd they do a recall? This wasn't that big of a problem.

they didn't recall mine... and that's why I punched a baby :icon17:

I got a call from a dealership (the only that's ever worked on my car before) about this last week. I asked for details, and he said that they'd be replacing the steering lock module with another one (as opposed to some change to remove it completely). I already have my fuse pulled, so I'm not bothering with this. Chances are the new module isn't perfect either.

There's a guy on the forum who's on his third one, the second one being a rev D that failed (before the recall). Pull the fuse and nothing to worry about

What was the reason behind this thread? Pointless!

Man. That's what you'd call a "lock block".

I hated it when my friends tried to lock block me when there was a Hot girl I was trying to hook up with...
