I can't justify an extra $6-7k for leather seats and a lackluster nav. when I can purchase a better 2DIN and sound system for far less. As for the leather, it's not preferred here in Phoenix for obvious reasons. Is it nice? Yes, but too hot (you can't always have covered parking).
In for pics of your 2DIN.

Tint the windows with ceramic. Love mine, even in 110* heat.

If I bought a 370Z again I wouldn't choose the touring option again. Not a fan of how the leather wears (not good, in my experience). The cloth seats are high quality and feel like they grip better. They certainly breathe better.

And I would want to add my own sound system, as the Bose is junk.
I don't regret my 40th but I found that realistically the base+sport is better for the money. I paid extra for things like heated seats and heated mirrors (which i don't need in seasonal car), bose (which is ok, but not great), leather which looks nice, but wears easily and even worse scratches very easily.

However, the red interior in my z is full of win.

Meh. I'd rather buy a civic with turbo and upgraded suspension. Total Z slayer.

Yes, it's not the fastest and it doesn't have the best handling, but it gives you just enough of both, IMO, to satisfy most people. This is something I never really appreciated until after owning both the 5.0 and S2000.

Now, is it possible you can be the best at everything? Probably. I think the C7 might get close to that level... but it's going to be a $60K + car. For the money, the Z is a pretty good value for someone that wants a good GT-style car. Not a full-on sports car or a full-on power car, but rather a well put together combination of both.

There are some small things I can nitpick over, but at the end of the day I appreciate it for what it is.
This right here is the reason for my pending purchase of a Z. If I didn't live in Iowa and instead were somewhere with more winding roads, I'd probably go BRZ.

All signs point to an evolution of the current design rather than a revolutionary reinterpretation.

Chances are, if you like the current style of the Z, you'll appreciate the new one also.

You walked into a Nissan showroom lately? Their designs are embarrassing in my opinion. Besides the 370z all their cars do nothing for me, even the gtr is too big and just doesn't scream sex looks wise. You have these ugly jukes and leafs and rumors of mini z"s it's scary to think what's next for Nissan.

really, i like most of Nissan's design. GTR is a car that was designed 6 years ago and still looks great. Juke is suppose to be weird looking, leaf is function over form.

Maxima and Altima I think look great.

Only one I don't like at all is the pathfinder, they made it too soft looking.

whats the size of the spacers up front?

The Z and GTR are the only designs I really like. The Maxima has its moments of looking pretty good to me, and the Altima - too many of them on the roads for me to have a positive opinion on. Everything else is kind of off the wall from Nissan to me.

The GTR looks awesome for those who know what it is. For everyone else, it just looks like an Impala (rear view) or Charger. And then of course they hear it.

The Z has been in a place of its own, reserved for things like Porsche's, since the 370. The 350 is nice, but not in a universally-loved sort of way. The 370 has few detractors, to be honest. It's priced much like the GTR, to undercut the competition that it *really* is targeting, and does it brilliantly.

The rest of the Nissan line is pretty boring. The Juke looks kinda neat for what it is, though. The Maxima looks fine, but I constantly can't tell some Altimas from some Maximas and that annoys me; much like the old Pontiac G8 didn't distinguish itself.

Then again, none of the rest of the line is looking to impact the sort of people who like the Z or GTR.

I absolutely love the way the 370Z looks from every direction. The only other cars that I feel this way about are those made by McLaren. The rest of the Nissan lineup just makes the Z stand out that much more. I also have a black Frontier Pro-4X crew cab and it looks pretty good for a truck.

I buy my sports cars in the most spartan version possible with an emphasis on performance. Base model with sport package and 7AT. No reason for all the other distractions with more stuff to eventually have issues.
