I can't justify the price either since I value performance for the dollar, but some people can so they get away with it.

Wow, this thread is a refreshing change of pace. I'm likely just parroting what others have said but the Z package of killer good looks, handling and speed is still hard to beat at its current price point.
Makes me really excited to see what happens in 2015. Rumors of American car manufacturers looking to cut weight and sleeker looking concept cars means there may be hope for Z like looks and handling with even more power. Maybe this competition will make Nissan wake the **** up and release a 3.0TT Z, one can dream. |

Nissan needs to fix their car's performance, but I hope they leave the looks alone. It's already sexy. |

The American cars have a long, long, loooooooooong way to go to make their interiors look good. I'm so disappointed in the outer and interior looks of American cars that I refused to even consider them in my new car purchase.
I've grown up, I don't need a lot of HP and no looks. I want the best of both worlds and the Z gives that to me, and with only two seats (I didn't want more than two, so that ruled out the G, etc.). |

If they could sell the car for $60k and still have it sell, they would. Of course, it's nowhere worth that, but worth is judged in the eyes of the buyer. It seems they're selling pretty well at this price point, so there's really no reason to alter the price (if not move it upward). It's the same thing with Porches- they're not worth the money in terms of cost to the manufacturer. Porsche makes insane profit on their vehicles. It doesn't matter, though... people keep paying out the *** for it. I'm glad Nissan decided to go the bang-for-your-buck route. That's something I can always get behind. |

Makes no sense that you didn't get a Touring/NAV, if that is true. The new American cars are getting it right. I bet the 2015 mustang Premium interior will be sickhouse, and the C7 interior already looks killer. Last edited by ImportConvert; 03-26-2013 at 12:55 PM. |

The Corvette has gotten a little better, I'll give you that. However, brown seats - yuck, and the exterior is ugly (see the new Stingray). Chevy is letting the Corvette get away from its roots.
The Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Challenger, etc. all are too boxy and toy-like. And what's with the electronic e-brake? I don't know if I trust the longevity of that vs. a cable. Edit: YOU did have the Corvette interior up, then ninja-editted it! Last edited by Haboob; 03-26-2013 at 01:03 PM. |

If I bought a 370Z again I wouldn't choose the touring option again. Not a fan of how the leather wears (not good, in my experience). The cloth seats are high quality and feel like they grip better. They certainly breathe better. And I would want to add my own sound system, as the Bose is junk.

I can't justify an extra $6-7k for leather seats and a lackluster nav. when I can purchase a better 2DIN and sound system for far less. As for the leather, it's not preferred here in Phoenix for obvious reasons. Is it nice? Yes, but too hot (you can't always have covered parking). |

I'd rather add my own double din nav or just use my garmin... or my phone with forever free map updates.
