I need s fundraiser! Car completely destroyed by keying

If the damage is enough your insurance can total the car. People dont think thats remotely possible but it happened to me.

Also if they declare the car totaled, you cannot buy the car back. I wanted to buy my 350 back because I had tons of parts on it but they said since it was comprehensive insurance and vandalism that I wasn't able to buy her back.

Their day will come. People who do stuff like this do not last long in this world. I do hope you get the satisfaction of finding them. If someone does this to my car, and I find them, they die.

Wow buddy, can't believe I didn't see your post till now.

I just can't imagine the kind of people who think thye have the right to do this sort of thing, violate your property and cost you money and time.

As much as I never want it to happen to me, I often wish it would but I am able to catch the person in the act, I play that scenario out in my head

I hope insurance takes care of it for you.

Also, I'd look into a Blackvue style "in car" camera. Records 24hrs, can record only upon touch, you can see the view from your car off your smartphone, records speed etc...might be a good compromise for the area not having camera's

I'm sorry to see what has happened to your Z. I would think someone you know did this because someone spent the time to hit every panel and headlights/tails to do a real number on your Z. That said, I'm one of those people that believes that things happen for a reason, meaning you can turn this into an opportunity as others have said to remake your Z into something special. I look forward to seeing how it all turns out. Best of luck!

Nice. But I was so hoping you'd go with digital camo! I don't think I've seen a Z like that.

How much difference is the satin vs matte wrap? I'm looking at going matte white now.

Satin Pearl looks awesome. It's very similar to matte but still has pearl look. No reflection in vehicle since its not high gloss. I Youtubed vinyl wrap colors to really get idea how colors looked in different lighting.

Camo could have been awesome but a friend of mine had a good point, unless I plan on dumping tons more into the engine, interior and body, camo wrap might look half assed.

Almost did matte metallic silver, matte frozen gray or matte metallic burgundy but.... stayed safe with white. Plus white will allow me to do various wheel color changes if I get bored. Flat black, gold or fluorescent yellow are considerations for summer!

I wonder: if you painted a car in digital camo and someone hit it, would they try to blame you in court for making the car hard to see? Especially if it was the urban white/grey/black scheme.
