It looks like the towing company may have really screwed up the bottom of your car by dragging it up with no wheels on it. Make sure you have the dealer thouroughly inspect the bottom of the car for damage , floor, frame , brakes , suspension and have it added to the theft and damage claim.

Wow very sorry to see what happened :(

It's been awhile since someone on here has reported their sport wheels getting stolen.

I know they were very popular with thief's a few years back But still a shame they have to do that.

Keep an eye out in the Classifieds to see if they have the nerve to put them on sale.

Hopefully the ins. will take care of the damages and put you back on the road quickly.

I can only suggest gorilla locks or something similar to at least slow them down if they decide to strike again.

Thanks man! that's why i love this forum you guys always have a nice suggestion(gorilla locks) most forums would be like lol and give childish remarks.
I have geico they are doing good so far. I don't have roadside assit so i might have to pay for that tow but im trying to fight that. also what is a good aftermarket front bumper excluding the nismo...Thanks in advance!:tiphat:

If I remember correctly? Basically the outer casing spins so a crook would have to spend the time to break the casing before getting to the lug thus making it more troublesome, And crooks like things easy.

Note I read thru the entire link posting and it seems that there is a lot of disagreement if the gorrilla lock fit the rays properly and may damage the wheel.

I had to go to extremes trying to avoid people hitting my car on the highway and parking lots. People around here act real funny around this vehicle i never had to go through this driving a vehicle costing twice as much. its something about this vehicle that drives people who don't drive it crazy and jealous and people who do drive it change also. when i got the car i could not stop driving the dam car its all i wanted to do not even eat..LOL! I know when i get my car back i got to make some changes realizing how people act around it in NYC.:tiphat:

I read it again and do confirm your observation.

What I know for a fact is that you're going to need the correct washer thickness to ensure the lock doesn't bottom end

Sooooooo sorry to hear that! My sincere sympathies! I know hearing things like this breaks the hearts of all of us who love our Zs. Just the thought of someone tampering with our car, let alone stealing something off it drives us crazy. Hopefully they didn't damage anything else on the car. But boy, does that suck! Here you are, you work hard for something nice, finally get it, and some complete low life vandalizes it. There are no words for people like that. I hope things work out for you with your insurance co. Life, God, fate...whatever you believe in has a way of taking care of people like that. Best of luck in the future. You'll be back on the road soon!

God bless you brother my favorite post so far! I am a peaceful man but when somebody messes with the people i love or my personal property i earn Legally! i become the incredible hulk! like you said i worked hard for that vehicle and it defiantly was a long time coming(3yrs!) but hopefully geico will take car of me because i cant afford much right now. Thanks again!:tiphat:

Sucks to hear...no wheel locks? I know they aren't fool proof, but at least a small deterrent.

What wheel locks if any do you have on yours??? and they got me in the Bronx.
the cop said its been going on for a while now. When the weather heats up in Nyc the rats come out their holes..U already know that I'm sure!:tiphat:

I saw a thread the other day of a guy get his nismo wheels taken :ugh:

To bad i cant afford garage parking right now. Its funny because the only thing i was worried about with this vehicle was tire related , Snow (it snowed here 2 days ago and i found out that day that summer tires and winter snow don't mix i had zero traction! ), i could care less about road noise i invite it!, and the eye catching sport rims. Every walk out to my car my heart skips two beats hoping my rims are still on my vehicle every time!!!:tiphat:

You really need to keep it indoors or get rid of it, a lot more trouble is bound to happen if you leave it parked on the street at night.

For the city you really need a cheap beater like Patrick Swayze had in Road House and keep the nice ride stored far away from the damage and thieves.

LOL! "Roadhouse!" family guy. Its a dam shame but you might be right i'm a middle class hard working American that lives near low class unemployed thieving scum bags! when i get my car back im going to have to upgrade my security or think about going roadhouse LOL!

And now that I know that you're a Yankee fan.....now those a-holes are messing with me! Actually, Yankees and NY Giants here for more years than I care to admit! Hey.... it could be worse! You could be a Mets fan! That would be like a double kick in the nuts! Best of luck!
