Btw, Will, if I had to to it again, I'd do EXACTLY what you did: 7AT since it has the downshifts, then add EVERYTHING, like a real differential and whatever brakes I wanted and stuff like that. I would've ended up with that same sport touring at the end of the day, just for less and a better diff I more or less ended with a sport touring with nav because I got a great deal, and that's all I was looking for, a great deal

I was at Starbucks with a friend, and a car roared from the unseen and I called ISF, and once it came closer, sure enough, I was right (maybe because I own one?) but it is quite unique too (and I had a WAI [warm air intake] that made it louder!!!)

I could never lease a car. I would feel like I am getting into a RENTAL every time I opened the door. It would also drive me crazy to "always having a car payment". I haven't had a car payment in over 10 years -- paid cash for my last 5 car purchases. To answer the question: No I do not regret purchasing my Z. I am seriously thinking that this is a car that I will never sell. Last edited by speedracer007; 03-20-2013 at 08:59 AM. |

Thankfully... Knock on wood. My 370z nor my score of Nissan/Infiniti vehicles has ever given me problems, I have a 7AT and love the shyt out that tranny. The car, with minor mods gives me the ride and braking I expect from a sports car.
It's very unfortunate that DEpoint and Red had the problems they had. DEpoint, I know what must frustrate you more than anything is the lack of support from the dealer to rectify the mentioned issues... I would probably feel similarly in your situation. But I have to say multiple nissan/infinti's owned and no issues. I've also owned a few cars from GM brands and mazda. Driven just about everything worth driving under $70k. The Z is a car I have so much respect for... I couldn't regret it if I wanted to. There's better cars out there but the Z has more character than most cars. Love my Z.

As for the ISF - I think the new one looks absolutely sick. The previous ones too. If I could afford one, I'd have thought about it, but I am thoroughly enjoying the Z. |

Sometimes I do. With the current economy, it would've been wiser to save as much as I can. So I get drunk and purchase car parts to make me feel better. It works every time.
